What is superannuation?
Superannuation in Australia is a compulsory regular payment made into a fund by an employee towards a future pension, which they can later use as an income stream when they retire. Employees payments are encouraged through tax benefits, as well as encouraged to voluntarily contribute on top of their compulsory contribution.
